Description

CarPro Iron X Limescale 500ml | Iron and Mineral Water Spot Remover

Single Step Hybrid Decontamination for Iron Dust & Water Spots

IronX LimeScale is a dual-action cleaner that transforms the decontamination process by removing iron fallout and eliminating mineral spots in a single step.

Its unique composition breaks down stubborn ferrous particles from brake and rail dust, while simultaneously dissolving mineral deposits such as calcium and minerals left by most hard water sources. The result is a surface that’s smooth, spotless, and fully decontaminated: ready for polishing or sealant. This cutting-edge formula saves time while delivering uncompromising results.

IronX LimeScale dissolves nearly any contaminant from the exterior paint, glass, wheels, and more, saving you time, and leaving the surface ready for polish or protection.

Whether it be vehicles braking on the highway during your daily commute, rail dust during your new cars voyage from the factory, or sprinkler water spraying your paint when you least expect it, CARPRO has you covered with IronX Limescale!

FAQ:

  • Q: Is IronX Limescale best to use for prepping the car?
  • A: Yes, if you plan to compound, polish, or seal your car then IronX Limescale is usually the very best option on the market to achieve your goal.
  • Q: How much iron remover power is in the LimeScale version compared to IronX?
  • A: 10% less iron active remover
  • QHow much mineral spot remover power is in IronX LimeScale compared to Spotless or Descale?
  • A: About 10% more lime scale remover.
  • Q: Is IronX Limescale best to use for decontaminating my new ceramic coating?
  • A: No, IronX Limescale is MORE aggressive towards the ceramic coating than our standard IronX.  The best rule of thumb is always least aggressive method first.  For this reason we strongly advise you to use IronX as the safest way to remove brake dust and fallout from your ceramic coated vehicle without affecting the water beading of your coating.  If you live in an area with HIGH amounts of mineral deposits on your vehicle then IronX Limescale may be necessary.  It will not remove your ceramic coating but can affect the hydrophobic nature of the coating, especially the longer and more often it is used.
  • Q: How does LimeScale fit between Spotless and Descale for mineral removal?
  • A: LimeScale actually contains more limescale remover than either of the others. Spotless is the most affordable of the three and is a spray-on product designed specifically for removing mineral spots. Descale and LimeScale are similarly priced per ounce, but Descale functions as a soap, so depending on how it’s applied, it may cost less per treatment than LimeScale.
  • While IronX LimeScale costs slightly more per application, it is priced just a buck or so above IronX, making it an excellent value. Many shops will likely save both time and money thanks to the efficiency of IronX LimeScale when using it to prep vehicles.
  • It’s worth noting that certain types of minerals may be more easily removed by one product than another. Because of this, you may prefer to test each product in your specific environment to determine which delivers the best results for your needs.
